Pollyrich Farms Inc. Breeding and Sport Horses specializes in the development of tomorrows performance horses. Pollyrich Farms Inc. acquired Running Creek Ranch and its established breeding business in 2004. Pollyrich Farms carries on the business of the Embryo Transfer Program in conjunction with Jan Martin Equine Management and all mare and stallion services for every breed. We also offer Rehabilitation and Lay-Up programs as well as retirement and vacation for horses in need.
We are located in Solvang, 40 miles north of Santa Barbara, California in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.
Rick and Buffy Oas have owned and operated Pollyrich Farms in Solvang since 2004. Before moving to the Santa Ynez Valley, they were based out of Coto de Caza, CA where Pollyrich Farms operated a large competative show jumping barn. Over the years, Pollyrich Farms has imported over 30 competition horses from Europe for the Hunter, Jumper and Eventing arenas.
After completing a certification in Equine Artificial Insemiation at Colorado State University, the couple became very involved in the daily operations and breeding program. Both Rick and Buffy are still active riders/trainers and occationally get the opportunity to show.
